The firm is licensed by the state of Tennessee, is a member of the Private Companies Practice Section (PCPS) of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and a member of the Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants (TSCPA). All members of the PCPS are required to have a peer review within eighteen months of joining this division of the AICPA, and every three years thereafter. After thorough study of our procedures and work practices, the reviewers have continuously concluded that our firm complies with the stringent quality control standards established by the AICPA.

Housholder Artman, PLLC has audited governmental agencies, performed tax and related bookkeeping for individuals, small businesses and larger corporations and partnerships for over 50 years. We currently perform several audits for local governmental units and federal grant receiving agencies in accordance with generally accepted government audit standards. The individuals assigned to these audits have many years of experience in auditing governmental agencies and meet all qualifications of the State of Tennessee. They also meet the continuing education requirements of the State of Tennessee and generally accepted government audit standards.
